2022 Bondi to Manly Ultra, 80km

This was the first time an Ultra has been run a stones throw from my doorstep and it was an opportunity too good to pass up. It is a sensational course and the scenery takes a lot of pain away from the gruelling harbour trails. I finished after 12hrs and 30 minutes and I was wrecked physically, but elated emotionally. As I leaped across the finish line at Manly beach my bag of lollies fell from my pocket. It was quite a race, but could I learn from this race and break 12hrs if I ran it again?
